The new Largs Comic Con event coming on Saturday 10 March 2018 has revealed its new promotional poster, and even famous Viking Magnus gets a look in!

Comic-mania has been sweeping the country of late, as a series of Comic Con events celebrating comics, sci-fi and cosplay (costumer dress up) have been taking place all over Scotland. The Big Glasgow Comic Page has been spearheading the movement touring Glasgow and now making it’s debut in Largs after it’s huge debut in Kilmarnock in November.

The event, organised by Big Glasgow Comic Page, takes place from 11am-5pm at The Vikingar. The day will see fans and cosplayers flock to the centre to browse 40 plus traders selling everything from comics, comic art, funko pops, action figures and collectibles.

Kids under 10 go for free and there will be a free face painter, balloon twister and several superheroes and villains for photo opportunities.

Organiser, Ian Bonar, of Big Glasgow Comic Page, said, “After the success of Kilmarnock the first place I could think of nearby was Largs due to childhood trips to the Viking centre and first class fish and chips shops.

"I’ve always loved the area and I’m thrilled that the idea of a Comic Con in the area has been well received so far. I’m sure it’ll rival our Kilmarnock Comic Con for attendance and will hopefully become an annual event if the people want it back.”

The event is suitable for all ages. Entry is £2 per person, and under 10s are free.
