Largs Foodbank benefits from 'A Selection Box of Songs'
LAOS Voices, the entertainment group from Largs Amateur Operatic Society, hosted 'A Selection Box of Songs' in Clark Memorial Church on Saturday 16th December.
They were joined by LAOS Young Voices, with their debut public performance, and accompanied by a three piece band: David Edwards, Jack Thomson and Gavin Lidbury. The Guests were a six piece string ensemble led by Bob Cairns of the North Ayrshire Music Service.
One pound from every ticket sold was to be donated to the Largs Food Bank. LAOS raised £150 and decided to match that amount and present the Largs Food Bank with a cheque for £300.
Photographer, Caroline Le Good Morgan, was on hand to record the presentation in the Centenary Lounge at Clark Memorial Church on Thursday 21st December.
LAOS President, Fiona Page, presented Largs Food Bank committee members, Michael Hynds, Georgina Barr and Simon Dell with the cheque.
