MUSIC AND MOVEMENT
The new event at the Hub is already fully booked. The Music and Movement is for very young children age 0-3 years. Although fully booked it is hoped that more sessions can be arranged. Full details from Inverkip Hub. Also at the Hub there is an opportunity to join the Meditation Sessions. More details of this can be had from kipmeditation@gmail.com
PARANORMAL STUDIES
There are to be more meetings on the subject of the Paranormal. This is also planned for the Hub.

The meeting of the WEA on January 31st will heat from Hayley Douglas about “Tag-n-Track”. This about Satellite tracking of birds, especially they Lesser Black-backed Gull. As the “blurb” says there is more to these birds than hanging around Largs looking for chips!
CAR ACCIDENT
On Sunday morning 7th January a car hit the ice formed by the water that has been running over the A78 at where the old Power Station building was on the side of road. The car turned over after skidding on the ice.
CRAMPONS WERE NEEDED
Anyone who got crampons for Christmas could have tried them out on the sheet of ice covering the pavement in Skelmorlie opposite the Post Office on the A78. The layer of ice was formed by the water that was being splashed onto the pavement by passing cars.
COUNTRY DANCING
The dancing has resumed in Inverkip Church Hall. A warm welcome to anyone wishing to join them on a Thursday evening.
BOOT CAMP
The fitness starts up again after the Christmas break. Tuesday evenings in Inverkip Church Hall at 8pm. Wednesday evening at 6pm is Corefit Conditioning night.
FRIDAY ZONE
The youth group Friday Zone has resumed in Inverkip Church Hall .
S.W.I.F
The group are holding a Do it yourself Burns Supper in Skelmorlie Church on 18th January at 2.30pm.
WHISKY TASTING
Inverkip Hotel is offering a Whisky tasting event on the 18th January and a Burns Supper on 25th January.
BUTCHERS AWARDS
McCaskie Butchers have been winning more awards. They have won 5 major awards in last 5 years and picked up another for their haggis recently.
INVERKIP GUILD
The Guild met for their first meeting of the new year when Linda Fenessey of “Sea Change” Kip Marina spoke to the members about the Language of Colour. This was an interesting talk offering new insight to how colour can reflect different aspects of peoples lives.
REMINDER OF CLOSURE
The Friends of Wemyss Bay Station have closed the shop for refurbishment and will be closed till March.
