The club newsletter said: “Having completed our first year as a committee we are all pleased with the progress that has been made but know that we cannot afford to sit back and rest. As a membership we all need to play our part in securing the future of the club. We would encourage everyone to try and play a small part in this – whether it be word of mouth or the use of social media in all its forms/ There are many ways that you can show your support from attending our social events or taking part in our fund raising initiatives. All these are only possible with your participation and be assured they are helping to keep the club running.”

* Table Tennis takes place at Skelmorlie Tennis Club on Wednesday evenings from 7pm. See their Facebook page for more details.
