Largs businessman Fida Hussain dressed in full Scottish kilt and regalia is behind the concept, and Natalie Matthew, nee McGuire, is managing the forthcoming Scotland Pakistan fashion week, is pictured in a sharah.
The inaugural event will be taking place in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 March, organised by Miraal Fashion.
Alongside leading designers from Pakistan and established Scottish labels, the Scotland Pakistan Fashion Week aims to showcase up-and-coming Scottish designers
They will bring a mix of breathtaking Pakistani designs and Scottish fashion, presenting traditional, contemporary and a fusion of Western and Asian styles.
Scottish and Scottish-based designers at the beginning of their careers, finishing their studies or recently graduated, are invited to showcase.
