It was a Barr-el load of laughs at Barrfields Theatre last Friday night with the second comedy club night of the year.
The event was a great success with around 100 people turning up to enjoy some top humour from first rate stand-up comedians Raymond Mearns and headliner Des Clarke, and compere Bruce Morton.
And Roslyn Mitchell and Sharon Toal got a chance to meet Des for a photo after the show, as you can see from this picture.
The front seats at Barrfields were all removed and the theatre was split into tables and chairs, and with the Barrfields bar open, the beer was certainly flowing, and it was a terrific night of entertainment that you would expect at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Bruce Morton told the audience that such was the success of the new Largs comedy club that it could become a monthly event, and kudos to Des Clarke who also provided a comedy stint at Lochwinnoch earlier that evening, before heading to Largs to provide his popular stand-up routine which went down a storm.
The next Largs Comedy Night at Barrfields is Friday 18 May, while comedian Fred MacAulay is also coming to Barrfields for his own show on Friday May 11. For more details, go to http://www.barrfields.co.uk/
