The St. John’s Church Africa committee are hosting a “Festival of Music Evening” in the Dunn Memorial Hall on Saturday 21 April.

The concert commences at 6pm and tickets are now on sale priced £8. Tickets can be purchased during the week from Largs Printing Company, 120 Main Street (enter from M&Co. car park) or by telephoning Allister McGregor on 686729 or Jim Welsh on 674714. Tickets will also be available at the door on the evening.

The concert will be given by The Salvation Army All Scotland Fellowship Brass Band and will consist of both modern and traditional music

Proceeds from the concert will be divided between the St. John’s Church Africa Fund and the Salvation Army.

The band will also be performing on the promenade in front of St. John’s at 1.30pm (weather permitting). If wet the band will play in St. John’s Church.It is hoped that the congregation will support this event as the purpose is to raise money for the Salvation Army and also to help support our brothers and sisters at Katalonji in Malawi with the purchase of maize seed and fertiliser.
