It is almost last call for local organisations wishing to share Kelburn Windfarm Trust money this year.
The deadline is looming next week for groups in Largs, Cumbrae and Fairlie to apply for some of the £50,000 pot put up by RES (Renewable Energy Systems) as their annual community benefit.
The fund is available to support local environmental, educational, amenity or other appropriate registered, not for profit organisations.
Grants of between £500 and £10,000 are available for supporting the principles of environmental, sustainability, energy efficiency, conservation and social sustainability. The 2018 Kelburn Wind Farm Fund application window is officially open until the 30th April.
Over the last six years in excess of a quarter of a million pounds has been granted to scores of organisations by the voluntary local committee.
Go online at www.kelburnwindfarm.co.uk and submit your application before it's too late.
