The BBC's Great British Railway Journeys is believed to be heading to Largs this week, the 'News' can reveal.
Presenter Michael Portillo is set to be arriving in the town at some point this week to film his popular tv show.
A railway source told the 'News': "We understand that the BBC have already been carrying out some filming in Largs.
"Michael Portillo is due to be arriving at some point this week - it is great profile for Largs and what has been happening at the station with the new Viking Garden.
"The show has already filmed episodes in Greenock, Kilwinning and Ayr, so it seems only fair that he takes a visit to see us."
The popular documentary series sees Michael Portillo travel the length and breadth of the country by train.
