School is out forever for the Largs Academy class of 2018 as they celebrated with a prom night laden with glitz and glamour.
The girls dazzled in their dresses and accessories, as sequins seemed a popular choice to light up the evening at Gailes Hotel in Irvine.
Meanwhile the boys looked sharp with a range of traditional kilts, tartan and tuxedos suits the attire of choice.
The paparazzi included News photographer John Keachie, who snapped the school leavers as they prepared their prom and a night of celebration.
Pupils enjoyed a pre-reception at Largs Academy before the night got into full swing.
The leavers enjoyed a sit-down meal before dusting off their dancing shoes and partying the night away.
