A local theatre club has collaborated with SHIMS (Scottish Head Injuries Music Support) group to present performances of a thought provoking musical, Invisible, in Lounge Clubroom during July.
As a result of last year's shows, which featured members of the brain trauma group alongside seasoned actors from Largs Players, a cheque for £1200 was presented to SHIMS who hold sessions in the town.
Former professional songwriter Robin, who penned all of the songs for Invisible, co-wrote the script with Players' veteran Drew Cochrane who is seen with other members of the cast.
The musical, which tells the story of people battling back from brain injuries, has also been staged in Paisley in November for the Quarriers organisation, and at the Harbour Arts Centre in Irvine.
The show has also gained coverage on Radio Scotland's Kaye Adams programme.
It is returning to Lounge clubroom on Fridays 6 and 20 July, and Saturdays 7 and 21 July, starting at 8pm with cabaret style seating.
Tickets can be purchased for the acclaimed show at Lounge in Largs Main Street, with proceeds going to SHIMS.
