THE Scottish National Sheepdog Trials is taking place in West Kilbride today and tomorrow.
Starting yesterday, it is an exciting and competitive few days for the whole family to enjoy.
This three day event sees Scotland’s top 150 sheepdogs and handlers compete to claim a place in the top 15, who will represent Scotland at the 2018 International. It’s also the qualifying trial for the Brace competition, which sees handlers with two dogs compete against each other.
This is a tough and highly-skilled competition, so many congratulations to all those who have got this far and good luck to all those competing over the three days.
Kenny Donald, local chairman, said: “We are really looking forward to the Scottish National Sheepdog Trials this year. There is some stiff competition and this, combined with the atmosphere of the event, means that it’s certainly going to be a fun-filled few days for all the family.”
Agria Pet Insurance is proud to be one of the sponsors for this event and will be attending all three days. With some exciting competitions on their stand and fabulous prizes to be won, make sure you visit the stand!
You can also take advantage of Agria’s special offer at the show.
