West Scotland MSP banned from Russia with 'close friend' Piers Morgan
West Scotland MSP Ross Greer is one of the latest public figures to be banned from entering Russia.
The Green MSP was included in a new group of 39 British journalists and politicians banned from entering the country.
These include Sir Kier Starmer, David Cameron and Piers Morgan, who MSP Greer has enjoyed a controversial relationship with.
The West Scotland MSP said: "I've just been banned from Russia, please send thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
"I've always said that if i was going to be sanctioned by the Russians i'd want it to be alongside my close friend and political confidante Piers Morgan."
