Largs rail passenger Gill Holmes has not paid her fine to the British Transport Police after saying the matter was still under dispute after the 40 day deadline had passed.
The 62 year old train traveller was pulled off a carriage at Kilwinning Railway Station last month by Transport Police after refusing to leave, in protest at the poor train service.
She has also thanked well-wishers who have approached her over the recent dramatic arrest as she protested that she would not leave the carriage until a replacement bus had arrived.
The former Aussie TV presenter told the 'News' she now plans a concerted campaign to try and improve the Largs-Glasgow rail line. Last week, we reported that there were more troubles on the line with another train again terminating at Kilwinning, while a Largs Thistle fan was forced to pay £30 to get to a Scottish Cup tie in time after being stranded at Irvine station.
Reflecting upon her own ordeal, Gill said: "I have sent my fixed penalty notice back, and have stated that the charge is in dispute after receiving advice. Numerous people have come up to me in the likes of Morrisons supermarket and Largs Town Centre offering me words of support. They were concerned that I was man-handled off the train."
