Jewellery thief at Largs charity shop

Last Tuesday, volunteers in the Ayrshire Hospice charity shop in Brisbane Road, Largs, became suspicious of the actions of a woman in the shop.

She removed jewellery from a glass display and made off without paying. After staff issued a description to police, a 32 year old woman from Largs was traced and charged in connection with shoplifting. A total of £30 of rings were stolen in the incident.
