A nice bar of chocolate is always difficult to resist for those with a sweet tooth!
And there was plenty food for thought for chocolate lovers at Fairlie Bowling Clubhouse last month, including some international flavouring.
Fairlie Fairtrade Initiative hosted a chocolate tasting event with Jean Wilson, Chocolatier from The Lime Tree Larder in Kilbirnie.
Sweet toothed 'chocaholics' enjoyed some fairtrade imports from as far as Madagascar, Raise Trade, as well as some bars from Divine Chocolate Limited.
The night proved to be very popular, as you can see from John Keachie's photos.
Fairlie has a long standing tradition of promoting fairtrade after becoming Scotland's First Fairtrade Village in March 2005, with fairtrade food being used by a number of local work places and community organisations.
