The Brownies will be holding their annual Coffee Morning on Saturday 18 March in Fairlie Parish Church from 10am to 12 noon. Entry is £2, payable at the door. The church will be open from 2pm to 4pm on Friday, 17th March so that anyone who wishes to donate home baking or prizes for the Bottle Stall can do so. Alternatively, donations can be handed in on the day.
The Largs & District Embroiderers’ Guild are having their exhibition and craft sale in the Dunn Memorial Hall, Largs on Saturday, 18th March from 10.30am to 3.30pm. Go along and see their work, buy their crafts and sample their coffee and goodies. Tickets £2, or pay at the door.
Messy Church is on Saturday, 18th March from 4pm to 6pm. In the lead up to Easter, they will be looking at journeys, safe places and the blessings we can count in our everyday lives. Go along and share in the activities, crafts and a meal with your family, neighbours and friends, in a relaxed, happy setting. All are welcome!
The final meeting for this session is the A.G.M. on Tuesday, 21st March at 2.30pm. This is an important meeting, and the team would like as many members as possible to go along.
General Yoga classes are held at Fairlie Parish Church on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9.45am to 11.15am. Drop-in and try a class – no experience is required and mats, belts and blocks are provided. Enquiries to Dai-An on 07855 989656 (Yoga Scotland Qualified Teacher).

Zumba dance fitness classes are held in the Village Hall on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10am to 11am. Zumba is great fun, and you can put in as much (or as little!) energy as you want. The Toddlers group meets in the Village Hall on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 10am to 11.30am with toys and activities for babies and young children under five (and a cuppa and chat for the accompanying adults). Semple Centre Singers
The Semple Centre Singers meet in the Semple Centre, Fairlie on Wednesdays from 11am to 12 noon to sing and enjoy a rich variety of songs. There will be no Pilates class next week, but Bill Lowrie will be back in the Village Hall from Wednesday, 29th March from 1.45pm to 2.45pm. The class is suitable for all ages and all levels of experience, so why not drop in and breathe your way to improved posture, muscle tone and core strength during the routines. Fairlie Village Hall can be hired for family parties, discos, fundraisers, meetings, classes, etc. There’s a large hall with stage and a small meeting room, and a PA system, urn, crockery, table linen, children’s games, etc. are available for lessees’ use.
