Kelburn Garden Party's annual live music festival gets underway today, Friday.
Kelburn welcomes the hugely respected rapper and poet Akala, the daddy of proper selectors Mr Scruff for an extended 4 hours set hosted by MC Kwasi, the world-famous Hot 8 Brass Band direct from New Orleans, and an exclusive takeover from Numbers featuring the legendary Optimo and Canada’s top disco and house selector Jayda G. Reggae is well covered by the mighty Mungo’s Hi-Fi ft. Charlie P, Prince Fatty and much more. Dominik Eulberg provides some bi-name techno sparkle, while DJ Food‘s Aphex Twin AV retrospective will delight many of you.
Palestinian electro pioneers 47soul return due to public demand, alongside cutting edge bass-heavy electronica from Om Unit and Addison Groove, hip-hop and folk music.
