Tis the season to be jolly, and Fairlie Bowling Club certainly got into the festive spirit early by hosting a November pantomime to round off the season.
The show was called Jack and the Fairlie Big Beanstalk, and included a number of roles for members of the club, and proved to be great fun.
The bi-ennial event had plenty of good jokes, and kept the audience in hoots of laughter throughout!
And as you can see from the photo, it gave members the opportunity to dress up in all manner of costumes.
The organisers stated: “You’ve all been so patient in waiting (oh, yes you have!), but wait no longer. Just a very big ‘thank you’ to all who made this year’s panto such a great success. Particular thanks to our final night audience who were absolutely magnificent.”
Look out for more pictures from the successful pantomime in the coming weeks in the Largs and Millport Weekly News.
It was a busy end to the season at the clubhouse with a Halloween party celebration, followed by a prizegiving evening.
Look out for the next big event at the clubhouse which is the annual Burns Supper on Saturday February 3.
