SOUPER SUNDAY

In order to raise awareness of the Church of Scotland’s HIV programme, a service will be held on Sunday, 4th February, followed by a simple soup lunch.

The tenth Annual General Meeting of Fairlie Community Trust will take place in the Semple Centre, Main Road, Fairlie on Tuesday, 6th February at 7.30pm.

MURDER MYSTERY

Following the success of “Barnaby Rudge” last October, Fairlie Community Association has another show booked through their partnership with the Ayr Gaiety and the ART Network - “Memento Mori” by Can You Catch The Killer? This production mixes a high quality theatrical performance with an interactive murder mystery game – watch events unfold, interrogate the subjects and identify the killer. Fun, funny and mysterious, and a good night for all! COFFEE MORNING

The Semple Centre Coffee morning will take place on Saturday, 24th February in Fairlie Parish Church Hall from 10am until 11.30am. Donations will be welcomed at the Church Hall from 2pm on Friday, 23rd February.

ZUMBA

Zumba dance fitness classes are held in the Village Hall on Tuesday mornings from 10am to 11am. Zumba is great fun, and you can put in as much (or as little!) energy as you want. ART CLUB

Fairlie Art Club meets in the Village Hall on Tuesdays from 7pm to 9pm. New members are invited to go along and join them - anyone interested in drawing or painting, especially beginners, are welcome. For further information, contact Ann on 568421.

TODDLERS

The Toddlers group meets in the Village Hall on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 10am to 11.30am with toys and activities for babies and young children under five (and a cuppa and chat for the accompanying adults). There’s a mix of mums, dads and grandparents, and everyone’s welcome. Just drop in and join them, or contact Kimberley on 07812 356664 if you have any queries.

PILATES

Bill Lowrie’s Pilates class is in the Village Hall on Wednesdays from 1.45pm and 2.45pm. The class is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, and it’s pay at the door (£4). For more details, contact Bill Lowrie on 07769 624342.

BADMINTON

Fairlie Badminton Club plays in the Village Hall on Thursdays from 8pm to 9.30pm. New members are welcome – contact Eva on 568809 for details.

Fairlie Village Hall can be hired for family parties, discos, fundraisers, meetings, classes, etc. There’s a large hall with stage and a small meeting room, and a PA system, urn, crockery, table linen, etc. are available for lessees’ use.
