A Fairlie safe roads group meeting is due to take place later this month.
Items to be discussed include pressing for a 20mph limit through the village, as well as the new set of traffic lights, which will turn red if a motorist is speeding.
Cunninghame North MSP Kenneth Gibson, who will be attending, has said that the traffic lights will be a first not just in Scotland, but in the UK.
The possibility of setting up a Freight Partnership Group will also be discussed at the meeting.
Road safety manager of Transport Scotland, George Henry, will also be attending.
The meeting is due to take place in the village on Monday 23 March at 7pm.
