We want to hear from you!

That was the message this week from North Ayrshire Council ahead of the latest consultation stage of the Fairlie Coastal Path.

The process – which will also include a public exhibition of the plans - starts on Friday 28 August and finishes on Friday 9 October and gives the public a chance to comment on the proposals.

The draft proposals were informed by the feedback obtained through the previous stage of consultation undertaken in 2014 and a number of meetings with stakeholders. The consultation documents will be available during this period electronically on the council’s website and at a number of local facilities including Fairlie Library, Largs Library and West Kilbride Library. Details for all locations are available from the council’s website. Feedback will be collated during the consultation period and will help inform the designs for the proposed path.

Further information is available from: http://www.north-ayrshire.gov.uk/council/consultations/fairlie-coastal-path-consultation.aspx The public exhibition drop-in session will take place in Fairlie Village Hall on Thursday 17 September from 11am until 3pm and 4pm until 7.30pm.
