Reports of a woman in the water resulted in a full emergency response.
During a routine Sunday exercise, Largs lifeboat R A Wilson and her volunteer crew were diverted to an emergency reported to be a woman in the water within Inverkip marina.
On arrival on scene the woman had been found to have slipped on the wooden pontoon, a team of divers who were nearby at the time assisted her to an ambulance.
As all was well, the lifeboat was not required it was stood down and returned to station.
