The opportunity of taster sessions in hypnotherapy to help transform people's lives is on offer in Inverkip.
Two health care professionals, both of whom had long careers in the NHS -one as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and the other in Nursing, Midwifery and Palliative Care - have joined forces to run two taster sessions.
The events will allow local people to find out if they can use this technique to help themselves improve their quality of life.
Both Morag and Dot have used hypnotherapy when working in the NHS and feel it could be used far more than it is at present. They have been impressed by its effectiveness when using it in their own practice and more that there is mounting research evidence to support this.
Convinced that more people could benefit from the associated techniques to help themselves, Morag and Dot have arranged these two sessions on Thursday April 20 at the New Inverkip Community Centre to enable people to learn about hypnotherapy and experience it for themselves. The sessions start at 6.30pm and finish at 8pm.
