Transport Minister’s Questions
At a recent Parliamentary meeting Stuart McMillan MSP asked the Transport Minister if Transport Scotland consider that buying a ticket before boarding a train would help the issue of people avoiding paying their fare. This was a question relating to the problem encountered on the trains locally on the Wemyss Bay, line. The transprot minister said he would look into the question.
This suggestion which would have merit in some areas seems doubtful with so many unmanned stations on the line between Greenock and Wemyss Bay.
