Racquets were at the ready for the visit of 'News' photographer Charlie Gilmour at Inverclyde Sports Centre.
This was because Largs Boys Brigade, who have a strong badminton reputation, were taking fire in their practice matches on Tuesday evening.
Both Largs National 'A' & 'B' teams are through to the last eight in Scotland. Badminton training for Juniors takes place from 5.30pm -6.30pm and for Company boys from 6.30pm-7.30pm, rackets can be provided for any boy requiring one.
And unsurprisingly, the boys had a smashing time, as we can see from the photos!
