The Largs Rotary is going ahead with sending a pupil to the European Parliament this year, as has been a regular practice during recent years.
The pupil will get the opportunity observe the Parliament in Strasbourg, and the club look forward to a report of the event at a future meeting.
The fundraising programme is well under way for the coming year, starting with a Fashion Show at M&Co on March 28.
Other events lined up include the annual Fun Run , car boot sale, strawberry tea, and more events to be finalised.
The Rotary Club of Largs extends a warm welcome to those who may be interested in joining the club, as well as to those who are just curious to learn more about the club's activities. The club was founded in 1958 and today has about 40 members. There are no age limits.
The club's core activity is raising funds for worthy causes both at home and abroad.
