All sections are asked to meet at usual times. Letters have been sent home to all parents with a full list of events, competitions etc. due to take place in the next month or so, please keep it to hand as we have lots do. The Parents & Friends Committee have two events coming up, Our "Daffodil Tea" will take place in Dunn Memorial Hall on Saturday March 25 from 10am-12 noon and all are welcome donations of baking will be gratefully received. Also a "Prize Bingo" night on Tuesday April 25 in Halkshill Bowling Club at 7pm again all over 18 are invited to come along and have some fun, donations of prizes would be appreciated.

Our company has been very successful in Battalion competitions recently. The Anchor Section took part in the Battalion Drawing competition with 180 boys taking part and Harvey Scott of 1st Largs won a 3rd prize.

The Junior Section also took part in their Battalion Painting competition with 12 Companies taking part and once again 1st Largs won with medals going to Cameron Hamill, Ryan Phillips, Steven McCart & Finlay Herrington. The following week the Juniors Figure Marching Team took part in their competition and again won the competition this year. In Company Section, 4 boys took part in the Battalion Scripture Knowledge competition and finished in 2nd place, they also took part in the Davie Cooper Football Cup and also finished winners. The last round of their Football League was completed with 1st Largs finishing in 2nd place. Junior Section still have one round of games to play soon. The Battalion Drill competition for Company Section will take place in Irvine on Friday evening March 24 and the John Brown Football competition for Juniors will take place in Kilwinning on March 25 and on the same date our Mini Pipe Band will be taking part in a BB competition in Glasgow. Our 13 Senior boys will attend their final course for their Queen's Badge Award at Dumfries House on the weekend of March 31 to April 2 and we wish the boys well in this important course.

As you can see,this is a particularly busy month for all in our company.

We are at present hoping to start applying for Grants toward renewing our Minibus which is 10 years old next month and is used constantly to transport boys to many places, if you have any contacts for grants, please contact the captain. Our "Rag Bag" Appeal for fundraising is on-going all year and anyone can bring in bags any Friday evening or pass to a BB boy to bring in, clothes, shoes, bedding (no duvets), old mobile phones etc can be taken.
