There is live music in Largs over the coming weekends.

Ye Old Anchor Inn in Gallowgate Street is hosting Raymie Wilson who will bring a live session of Rock and Americana to the Gallowgate Street pub, starting at 9.30pm this Saturday.

Raymie has been playing and writing songs and original music for over 40 years, recording various projects including; a new country album, a rock guitar album, a few power pop songs, a prog concept album. He has also recently self-published a book of classical guitar pieces, which were originally written whilst teaching in the 1980s.

And during his last visit to the Anchor provided a two hour set of classic country tunes.

JG Sharp's bar in Nelson Street is hosting the Largs band Crisis this Saturday evening from 9pm.

And for something completely different, head along to Stoddy's Session which takes place on Sunday April 23 at 2.30pm in The Waterside.Largs Come along to a traditional music jamming session. Lots of familiar tunes are promised with a friendly vibe.
