It is congratulations to Largs golfing legend Sam Torrance who has been made an honorary life member of the European Tour.
The honour recognises Sam's long and successful career in the sport.
The 63-year-old received the accolade from chief executive Keith Pelley at a dinner at Wentworth this week in the build-up to the BMW PGA Championship.
Sam joins an illustrious list of the greats of the game including Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Seve Ballesteros, Tom Watson and Nick Faldo, and has described it as a great honour.
