THE Scottish Industrial Railway Centre will have another open day on Sunday, June 25.
The centre at Dunaskin near Ayr will also be open every Sunday in July and August with at least one locomotive in steam.
The main working loco at the centre is former National Coal Board engine No 10, which used to work around the former coal pits of the Doon Valley.
It was built by Andrew Barclay Sons & Co of Kilmarnock.
The Scottish Industrial Railway Centre is operated by the unpaid volunteers of the Ayrshire Railway Preservation Group.
On each Sunday the centre is open from 11am to 4.30pm and offers visitors short steam hauled hurls in a brake van.
A spokesman for the ARPG said, "There is a lot going on this year and we have some exciting developments in the pipeline."
