A Largs children's clothes shop is appealing to the public for donations of goods to assist families of the Grenfell Tower Fire tragedy in London.
A&M Rothesay Removals will pick up any goods handed in to Little Threads in Gallowgate Square, Largs (before 5pm on Saturday please) and transport to Richard Healey Removals Ltd in Beith for onwards distribution.
Owner Rosemary Giovino said: "They are trying to collect clothes, shoes, toiletries and anything else we can think they may need in the short term as they have lost everything."
The death toll has increased to 17, while 18 are in critical care after 79 have been taken to hospital after flames tore through the 24-storey tower in north Kensington during the early hours of Wednesday morning, with firefighers having been praised for their heroics in tackling the blaze.
