Largs Bowling Club recently held its Open Triples Competition which was sponsored by Arnold Clark Motors.
When Neil Gillies and Graham Borland, from Dalry Bowling Club, turned up to play minus a third team member, Ray Young, Vice President of Largs B C, agreed to fill the gap. After a hard day's play the team, skipped by Neil Gillies were the victors and shared first prize which brought a smile to all three faces. (Picture 4995).
The runners-up were Ron Hempseed, Bob Randall and Ian Johnstone.
