And the winner of Brisbane's Got Talent 2017 is......Murray Arneil! Before the end of term, many children auditioned to get through to the semi-final and to make it to the final of Brisbane's Got Talent on Friday, 23rd of June. Murray sang the song "Naughty" from Matilda the Musical.
Teacher Cathy Hughes said: "He seemed so surprised to hear his name announced. I had about 25 seconds until the home bell to interview him. I asked how he felt and he said 'amazing', which was wonderful to hear."
Murray, son of Allan and Stacey Arneil, is 7 years old and will be in Primary 4 next year at the new Largs Primary School.
