Heavy congestion in Largs affecting traffic and sailings
The good sunshine has brought lots of visitors to Largs, but there is congestion on some of the main roads into town.
At midday, the Haylie Brae was backed up towards the fishery, while others are reporting traffic backed in other areas of the town. The police are at the ferry directing traffic.
Angry motorists have been tweeting Transport Scotland, asking: "What's wrong on Haylie Brae in Largs? Stuck nose to tail for 20 mins so far!"
Cal Mac have reported that due to very heavy volume of traffic this service is currently experiencing waiting times of up to two hours.
