The Largs lifeboat crew rushed out in difficult weather conditions to attend a yacht in difficulty on the Clyde.
Largs Lifeboat launched at 12.15pm on Friday following the report from Belfast Coastguard.
The vessel, a 9 metre yacht, was located and being assisted by another yacht although was having difficulty due to the choppy weather conditions.
Investigation revealed that the vessel having a problem had managed to foul its propeller with its headsail and thus was unable to enter Kip Marina.
The lifeboat crew rigged a tow line and towed the vessel into the marina assisted in berthing and landed the four occupants.
The lifeboat then returned to station, being rehoused at 2.20pm and the volunteer crew returned to their employment. A big thanks to their employers for their continued support of our lifesaving efforts.
