Dust off your broomsticks and grab your lanterns, its Halloween time. 
Dracula, a radio show- The time has come to celebrate All Hallows Eve, with gothic balls, ghost walks and of course, Dracula himself. Beginning the festival of superstition, on Friday, 27th October, the Greenock Beacon centre, will host Bram Stokers classic, Dracula. The on stage, radio-play will feature three 1940's radio actors which will include period music and sound effects from the classic. The show is terrifyingly described as; vampiric lust against a backdrop of wartime austerity. Gothic Ball- From Dracula to crucifixes the following night, West Kilbride's, Barony centre, will welcome all for their Halloween Gothic Ball. The frightfest hosted by Vertex Festival , has lined up performances from 'deadly' Sophie Cotton, 'septic' Centre Stage and an eerie set from Artistic License. Entertainment will also include music from classic rock musicals, Sweeney Todd and Dracula. This is a BYOB event. Tickets can be purchased from tickets@vertexfestival.co.uk.
Ghost Walk- If Gothic dances and Dracula isn't your thing but ghosts and superstition are then Largs Museum is where you want to be. Meeting at 2pm on the eve of Hallows eve- 30th October, ghost hunters will gather to take part on this years Ghost Walk. Starting outside the museum, together walkers, will take to the Main Street stopping at some of its most iconic haunted buildings along the way.
