All the girls enjoyed activities based around light last Tuesday. The Explorers made fireworks pictures using straws instead of paintbrushes and plenty of glitter. The results were fabulous. The Juniors and Brigaders made night light holders out of tissue paper and balloons.

Our new Chaplain, Jonathan Fleming came to lead worship with us tonight. We again thought about light. We talked about Jesus being the light of the world and how, by being kind, we can bring light to the world.

All sections were recently making money boxes. The girls are hoping that these will be returned full of loose change to help us fundraise for the brigade's 125th birthday party.

2018 will see GB turn 125 and as well as a host of national events North Ayrshire Division will be holding their own party to celebrate.

All companies in our division have been asked to raise money to help support this event. Money raised from our Christmas cards will also go towards this.

The girls were busy finishing their Christmas cards this week. The Explorers also played games and the Juniors were working on their netball skills. Devotions this week were thinking about being patient.
