P1, P2 & P3 have had the dress rehearsal of their Nativity ‘Busy, Busy Bethlehem. All children are looking forward to next Thursday evening when they will be performing at St. Mary’s Church. They have enjoyed watching a pantomime ‘Robin Hood’. Grace loved getting to talk to Maid Marion and Dara loved the part when Robin Hood save Maid Marion.

P4 have been developing skills in reading analogue and digital clocks at 5 minute intervals. We also had lots of fun preparing for the school Christmas Fayre and would like to thank everyone for supporting us.

P5/4 would like to thank all family and friends who kindly donated homebaking for our stall. We are still counting the money we raised but we have about £150 so far. In class we have enjoyed our Buoyancy Challenge where we had to build a boat that could float and hold a cargo of cubes. We had great fun trying out our models in the sink!

Many thanks to Pat & Claire from Clyde Muirshiel for an exciting orienteering lesson in the school grounds. Primary Four & P5/4 had fun using our punches and control cards to locate different markers situated around the school grounds. We were able to apply the mapping skills we learned in the class to help us read our maps.

P6 would like to thank everyone for supporting our stalls and games at the Christmas Fayre. We really enjoyed using all our skills to price our goods and make posters to promote our games. We also had our ‘Buddy Training’ this week to ensure we properly support the new P1 when they start St. Mary’s next year.

P7 have been learning the importance of personal hygiene and are creating animations, puppet shows and information leaflets highlighting hints and tips for others. They had a fantastic time at the Christmas Fayre to get the festive season off to a jolly good start!
