Largs councillors were given a sneak preview before the new opening of the school campus on Monday and were impressed with what they saw.
Councillor Ian Murdoch told the news that while he still had reservations about various issues around the campus including traffic and pedestrian management, he is very impressed with the wonderful facilities inside the school.
The classrooms, corridors, dinning area and sports facilities are the best he has ever seen within a school complex.
He added: "Largs attainment record has always been very good and I think the new Campus can only help to keep that record strong and give our young people the best start in life."
