The centre's new fitness class timetable has launched and is proving popular with our customers! In particular our new mobility classes. Duncan Liddel, Fitness Manager explains “Our mobility classes are great for everyone because they help you move your joints and improve your quality and range of movements in your every day life as well as when you are exercising. Ideal for combining with some of our other classes as it’s only 30 minutes long”. The centre have mobility classes on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
· Last week the centre welcomed Burnley Football Club to the new centre for the first time. The team were here for training and also took part in a GameFIT session with our fitness team. The class is available to everyone is a regular part of our fitness class timetable but we also offer this to sports clubs to help improve speed and agility.
· The centre once again welcomed a number of young football, or should we say “soccer” teams from North America last week. Inverclyde are working with World Strides Excel Sports to bring a number of Olympic Development programme athletes to Scotland for extra training and experience of other nationalities and sporting environments.
· This week the centre have Forehill Primary staying on their annual school residential trip for primary 7s. Inverclyde are looking forward to welcoming the Yonex Boys Brigade UK and All Ireland Badminton Finals this weekend.
