There is major disruption affecting trains between Largs and Glasgow last night.
This follows problems on Saturday evening in which trains were cancelled after an electric power failure at Glasgow Central.
The service is not expected to return to normal until around 5pm on Sunday.
At present, the Largs train to Glasgow is not running, and travellers will have to make their way to Kilwinning in order to get to Glasgow.
Scotrail stated: "Due to the over head wires coming down last night services from Glasgow Central are being disrupted. We have limited alternative transport and journey times will be extended. Customers please consider alternative modes of transport if you are travelling to Glasgow Central."
