Largs & District Horticultural Society are holding their annual plant sale and garden advice workshop on Wednesday 9 May,
The event takes place for all green fingered enthusiasts at 7.30pm in St John’s TocH Hall, Bath Street, Largs.
There will be hands on demonstrations giving tips and advice on a range of topics followed by tea/coffee and biscuits. 
There is no entry charge and all are welcome to come along and join in. Please ask questions as we go along.
A selection of plants, grown by our members, together with plant pots etc will be on sale as the workshop.
The society is already planning for the Largs Flower Show which will be held in Dunn Memorial Hall, St John’s Church, Largs on Saturday 25 August. There are classes for everyone to enter from plants and flowers to fruit and veg, hobbies, baking, decorative and junior classes.
