Largs Brownies showed their caring side by providing cards, blankets and food parcels for elderly people.
The welcome home boxes were arranged and organised by the 1st Brownies group who meet on Monday afternoons at the Dunn Memorial Hall,
Eileen Welsh of the Largs Brownies said: "It was through a link-up with Compassionate Inverclyde. We provided welcome home boxes.
"The girls have made cards and knee rugs for elderly people, and had great fun in making up the boxes."

The charity aims to enable and empower people to help and support one another at times of increased health need.
Compassionate Inverclyde builds on the international movement to develop ‘compassionate communities’ through small acts of kindness.
The 1st Largs Brownies meets in the Dunn Memorial Hall on Mondays from 4.45pm till 6.15pm.
A varied programme is based around the home, the community and the wider world. This is achieved by games, crafts, quizzes and whatever else seems appropriate to the activity.
A warm welcome awaits girls aged between seven and ten years.
