The 1st Largs Rainbows showed their environmental awareness as they headed to the beach on Monday afternoon.
But they didn't bring their bucket and spade, instead they were participating in a beach clean.
There will approximately 70 girls and adult volunteers who were taking part along the coast between the pier and Sandy Bay.
And the girls' commendable efforts did not go unnoticed either, as the youngsters gained praise for doing their bit to keep our beaches clean on community social media pages.
There have been a number of beach cleans happening throughout the area in Largs, Millport, Skelmorlie and West Kilbride, with two new beach clean environmental groups having been set up in Skelmorlie and Millport too.
Largs Community Council have also participated in beach cleans over recent years.
Environmental committee chairman Patricia Perman recently commented that it was good to see that a number of local groups were getting involved.
