CHASED! Danger driver fails to escape
An off duty policemen assisted locals as they tried to restrain a dangerous driver who ran away from the scene of a car crash.
At 5pm on Sunday, a road accident occurred in Manse Court in Largs as a vehicle collided with two separate cars. The driver made off on foot but was pursued by witnesses to these collisions.
Following an incident in Gallowgate Street, Largs, this male was restrained by members of the public including the off duty cop until the police arrived a short time later.
The 32 year old driver was apprehended for a breach of the peace. He later gave a positive breath specimen and was also reported for having no insurance, M.O.T, driving licence and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.An off duty policemen assisted locals as they tried to restrain a dangerous driver who ran away from the scene of a car crash.
