Fairlie teen THREE times over drink drive limit

Drunk drivers were targeted in Largs, Fairlie and Millport during the past week.

A 19 year old boy was THREE times over the prescribed limit when his vehicle was stopped in the Highfield Terrace area of Fairlie near the former Primary School. The incident happened last Saturday evening.

Earlier in the day, a 39 year old driver in Balloch Crescent, Millport, was charged with being over the legal limit at 5.30pm.

A 26 year old man from Stevenston was reported to the Procurator Fiscal for drink driving in Court Street in Largs at 7pm last Saturday.
