Louisa has survived a 100 foot plunge after car smash in States
"I literally dropped to my knees. It was a miracle that she survived."
That was the immediate reaction of father Neil Hezseltine upon witnessing the dramatic accident scene where his daughter Louisa escaped a car crash after it had dropped 100 feet.
"She is doing okay now, she has now moved from Crosshouse Hospital to Ayrshire Central to start her rehabilitation. We are pleased about that," said Neil.
We reported recently how young Largs woman Louisa was lucky to escape with her life after the driver of the vehicle she was travelling in died following a horrific car collision in Los Angeles. The driver Julius Glover died following the crash.
Louisa, 24, returned to Scotland following a medical plane flight from the States accompanied by her mother Carol and two specialist nurses, a journey taking around 14-16 hours, with a number of fuel stops at Goose Island, Toronto, Montreal, and Iceland.
Her injuries have been many but as father Neil says, "Louisa is incredibly lucky to be alive."
