Readers have responded to a Largs man who claimed that the recent Largs Live weekend caused trouble in the streets.

Typical of a response was one from M Cameron who praised the inaugural event which featured a street parade and free musical events throughout the town.

She wrote: "We were out most of the weekend enjoying the atmosphere, which was great from Friday till Sunday. The atmosphere all weekend was fabulous just like back in the 80's, when the pubs in Largs were "buzzing" and full all weekend.
