Largs Live weekend was great

Readers have responded to a Largs man who claimed that the recent Largs Live weekend caused trouble in the streets.

Typical of a response was one from M Cameron who praised the inaugural event which featured a street parade and free musical events throughout the town.

She wrote: "We were out most of the weekend enjoying the atmosphere, which was great from Friday till Sunday. The atmosphere all weekend was fabulous just like back in the 80's, when the pubs in Largs were "buzzing" and full all weekend.

  We were out on Friday night and Saturday as well. No trouble at all, there were yellow jacketed cops all over the place.
  
  FFS, I thought they were following us, every pub we went to, in they came for a nosy!
  
  The toilets powder sniffers were on edge!

  I saw a rather large black lady officer give a wee guy a bollocking outside McAuley's which made me squirm. The wee fanny deserved it and I wouldn't like to take home a broken pay poke to her!
