A toy shop in Largs will attempt to break a big Guinness World Record for 'the longest marathon playing a board game'.
The bid starts at 11am on Wednesday 1 August at the Bus Stop Toy Shop in Irvine Road, Largs and is expected to run through to Friday 3 August.
The participants need to stay up till 11pm on Friday night to beat the record, and have vowed not to take coffee or energy drinks, at least until the final day!
The effort will raise money for Children's Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) who run the only hospice services in Scotland for children and young people with life-shortening conditions.
